100th Elvetham Heath Cubs Autumn 2021 – Rebooted Camp!

Date: 3rd Nov 2021 Author: Rick Hooper

Following the Roaring success of our Freedom Activity Day in June, we made a Rowdy Return to Runways End in October for Rebooted! Camp 2021.

Cubs from both of our Remarkable Packs were Rewarded with a Refreshed set of activities including Rifle Target Shooting, Raft Building, High Ropes, and a sponsored Countryfile Ramble Hike where our Cubs raised £300 for BBC’s Children in Need!

As well as the adventurous activities, the Cubs Really enjoyed their first opportunity to Camp in the Great Outdoors since 2019 – with 2 nights Relaxing in their Tents and enjoying some crazy singing and Roasting marshmallows at our Roaring Campfire.

This was a really fun ‘Digital Detox’ and the Cubs – along with our Explorer Helpers, Leaders, and Assisting Adults – all had an amazing time.

Below are just a few of our favourite memories from Rebooted Camp 2021

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
